Hi all,
I am having some layout issue with one of my reports. Please check the attached qvw for the example.
Fig.1 shown below is a Multibox and if I click on dropdown, it will list the field values as below.
In Fig. 2, I am also using Accounts and having "Dropdown Select" option enabled for it. But if I click on dropdown, the border lines do not appear for Field Values in this case. I am using QV9 SR6.
Please let me know if you have any idea on this.
Many Thanks in advance.
hi sharma,
i think u forgot to attach the qV file..
HTH
Oh Very sorry for that.... Now I have attached it ...!!
i think it's not possible to set cell borders in straight table. But you can change Style in Selection Appearance in Document Properties.
Please correct me if im wrong
I don't see what the issue is. This is probably just the way it is - why is it important to have the grid lines?
I think his real data looks messy without cell grid lines.
Muncho - really? I have a had time picking up sarcasm on forums.
Try selecting one of the values from the the input box - the gridlines also disappear. Don't think there is anything you can do about that either - unless there are some hard to find settings somewhere.
@Nathan: After clicking on "Dropdown", the grid lines does not appear as they do in the Selection box. This makes values look little messy.Just willing to know if there is some property which can help this.
@Munch: Yes you are right. The real data looks bit messy. Even the properties you suggested did not help me.
Nathan- sorry dont know what you mean. But no one wants grid lines for only 4 row data right. That's what i mean.
i think in settings there is no such things like dropdown options only thing u can change there is selection appearance in this case. But hey I'm new in QV. Sorry if im posting unnecessary posts.
BTW sorry for my english ^^
Don't worry about me - I must be bored this morning
