Edit script window missing

I found couple of discussions about the same problem from community, but those didn't help:

QlikView Freezes when edit script

Qlikview edit script is not showing.

The regedit hint sounded just right, but there was no WindowPos -folder to be found. I also tried to attach an external monitor, but still couldn't find the missing window. Any other tips to solve the problem?

Not sure if this will help, but do make sure that you have the edit script checked under security tab of document properties:

Check this once?

Edit script is enabled from the security tab, I already checked that.

have you implemented SECTION ACCESS on the document?? if so try login with the admin access and check

because of section access issues, edit script might be disabled to the current user
