Essbase Connector Data Format Issue

Good day,

I am having issues pulling data in Qlikview 11 from Essbase.

I can connect and pull data but the I cant get the data to display the correct Data type format.

I have attached the Error that I am getting when trying to display the data in Qlikview.

Please see MDX below that I am using.

Dear Karabo,

   Had you tried to read datas from another table and compare the issue? This field mentioned on the png was not listed on the load script.

   You really want to check how the informations was loaded (format/fields).

   I think that isn´t a problem on Essbase connection.

Thanks for your reply.

I have however found out that the data format issue only occurs on my servers.

I have installed Qlikview 12 and Qlikview 11 (SR16 & SR17) on my local machine and the formatting issue seems to have disappeared when querying the data.

I still have to figure out why I can not get the numbers or decimals to be displayed when connecting to essbase on my Dev and QA servers.

Something perhaps a format on my servers might be blocking this, but i find this a bit weird.

NB: Please note that I am running Qlikview 11 SR16 on my servers but still having the data format issue.

Dear Karabo,

   I hope, in order to get sucess, open a Ticket on Qlik Support Team, reporting the issue and tests that you did. They can analyze and understand why the current version isn´t working as the previous release.

Thanks a lot for all your help.

I have a logged a ticket with Qlik Support and they are busy trying to resolve this issue.

I will feedback when I get a solution to this issue just in case someone also experiences the same problems,
