Excel export issue

Hi All,

I have a date filed in a Qlikview Table ... when i export this table to excel and type a formula to extract month and year . The formula fails... see below image

I can get month and year of "receiptDate" in qlikview but my users want to do this in excel depending on their need.

This is only happening to files exported from qlikview... but if i open new excel sheet and type same formula it works fine

I have attached the file here. Appreacite help on this

Change the formatting of the cells from text to number before entering the formulas.
