Export to Excel - multiple export formats when > 65,000 rows

Hi,

I am desperately trying to find the configuration settings to amend the file output type when clicking on the Export to Excel buttons in my QV apps.

I currently have 3 servers - our main production server, a dev server in a new environment, and a new production server we are moving over to.

My current production server is running QV 11.20.12577.  Whenever I export a table > 65,000 rows from any apps on this server, either directly from server, from my laptop QV or from the access point, the file is exported as an .aspx file and opened in XL.  This file can then be saved as a .xlsx file and worked on as a normal file.

My development server in the new environment is running QV 11.20.12904.  When I run the same export on this server, it outputs to a UNICODE file from the application within the server (which is almost usable, but not as useful as the .aspx format), and as a semi-colon AND comma separated .csv file from the Access Point.  This format is completely unusable, as a sales value of £62,047 is pulled out into two columns, one of 62 and one of 47.  Likewise, a value of £1,456,001 gets split into three columns, the first as 1, the second as 456 and the third as 1.

My new production server is running the same QV version as the development server, and exports from the Access Point in the same unusable .csv format as the Access Point on the development server.

I need to somehow amend the export format to be .aspx on both the development and the new production server, but can not find any reference anywhere to amend this.  I've scanned the system configuration of all 3 servers, and can't find a difference between them.

Does anyone know where this configuration setting is hidden, or what else may be causing the different formats to be exported?

I should also point out that the OS is different between the current production server and the 2 new servers.  The current server is running Windows Server 2008 R2, whilst the 2 new servers are running Windows Server 2012.

Any help greatly appreciated.
