Hi,
I've stuck at a requirement where I'm suppose to show only current record for as of selected year or month.
Ex:
One single employee has multiple transactions(job,location,company) in a single year but in fact he'll have only job related entry.
But when a user selects that emp should show all transactions selected in that year/month end/ quarter end only.
Please see the attached xl file.
sheet1 are the scenarios and color coding is done based on selection.
It is kind of confusing but I've somehow managed to add a date entry in fact where ever the emp is missing the date
Ex: EMP1 will have 20140101 as one entry and the next entry will be on 20160101 so I populated dated for this EMP1 from 2014 to 2016
but now I want to fetch the new entries inserted for this EMP1 from other DIM's.
In Other DIM's there are multiple transactions happening between 2014 and 2016 and I need to show only those transactions based upon selection of year/month/quarter.
