Filter Chart Data Using Button

Hi Community,

I have Transport Mode Field in my table. Which contains Transport Mode as Air, Road, Train..

I have added 3 buttons on sheet for 3Transports.

Once i click on Button1 which is for Air then charts will show only Air Data, and same for other 2 Transports.

How can i achiev this in QlikView.

--Thanks and Regards,

Check this attachments.

Go to button and chart properties -->Check under layout where condition has been given.

Similarly you can do for your requirements.

Thanks,

Another good example is the qlikview Sample file "Prescription Tracker",

the're is a Chart "Prescriptions by Market", Chart is updated by 2 objects(Volume and Market)) pretending to be Buttons

Hi

You can achieve exactly the same thing using standard QV functionality without the need for buttons, actions or macros. Create a list box for [Transport Mode] an simplify it by removing the Caption and possibly arranging it horizontally:

This simpler to construct, use and maintain, so unless there is a specific requirement in your case over and above what you posted, I would do it this way.
