Filtering Ranges

i am working with qlikview and i have some Dashboards working perfectly for my Company thanks to everybody here for your support.

there is this twist my Boss want me to add to my company dashboard, he want to be able to filter with date range; for example; filtering between 1 - 12th of a particular month and a particular year.

i went through this tutorial and it wasnt working

i have my data loaded from my company database.

i need to get a date Range working.

I have a Dashboard named Date Range... Help take a look at it.
