Fixed Width

hey guys,

I posted this in the new to qlikview forum but figured it might not be what new qlikviewers are working so I thought i'd try here.

Attached I have made a solution for working with fixed width in CSV files.

BUT i was thinking if there was any way of doing this more efficient?

I sometimes get requests where a certain field must be on the 89th field or whatever. And I would also want to take the opportunity to as for a solution I need to enter the date on the first line of the .CSV-file. Currently the top row is the name of the string which i'm making.

Hope someone might be able to help:)

Cheers

Hey there,

Can you clarify more by sending us a sample of your csv and or try to explain with a table or a draw table of what your desired output must be?

Hi Miguel!

Ofcourse: There's my output csvfile. I'd like to have the date in the header. And also IF possible a sum of rows as a last row.

But anyway that is good enough except for the dateproblem. I was jsut wodnering if it was a more efficient way of achieving the same thing as below.
