I am wondering if the moderators should do something about this?
Is this really an appropriate place to ask questions like:
* What is Agile
* Explaint to me what scratch means (was asking about building an app from scratch)
I think if a Google Search takes you to all non-QlikView sites it doesn't belong in this forum.
I read the Community Form through an RSS reader and try and read every post or at least the title both to try and help others and see what interesting questions and answers have been posted but if the quality of these posts continue to decline I won't be able to keep up.
Does anyone else have an opinion?
Don't get me wrong I think it's fantastic that people are taking the time to answer what is Agile, but it's not the right place.
So maybe what I am saying is it might be time for a new Community section for Newbies and have these questions limited to that location?
Does it really make sense to have those questions mixed in with advanced Aggr questions?
What is Agile is like asking How do I drive a car on a Corvette Forum where people are talking about performance mods.
Thanks Daniel,
I agree wholeheartedly with your observations but don't think we are going down hill . We have added a full time moderator to the team for several months to help with some clean up, moderate forums, lock old threads and move misplaced threads. His name is Robert Tharp ext_rtp and he has been doing a great job.
We are also working on a New to Qlik Community area where people can review threads and resources to help them get up to speed in the community.
I believe we will always have a challenge with lower level questions which need to be moved to the New to QlikView and New To Qlik Sense forums. I think as a community member you can feel free to email us when you see repeat offenders posting in the wrong areas or you can also post a 'gentle nudge' with a link to the correct forum.
Hmmm maybe we will make a new mission and badge for 'King of Patience'.
I doubt that a "newbies" section can change anything at all. Users still can ask any questions in any place. If you think a post is not appropriate, you can always "Report abuse" button on the right.
And, I'm not sure it's a good idea to try to "keep up" - the forum is too active for that, which is a good news
Hey Daniel,
Great feedback! We are moderating the forum quite actively but at same time we try to not be to harsh and create a extremely strict policy on content.
Thankfully we are expanding and have hired more people for the Qlik Community team as well as we have expanded the number of moderators. sli can you give much better updates then I can on the subject
Thanks Daniel,

Can we make a section in the forums called Google It?
