GEO Map Hangs

Hello everyone,

I have developed an application with Geo-Qlik map extensions and it was working good.

I just reloaded it with 50 thousands of records and it hangs when deployed and used.

It takes minutes to populate map charts.

It is really disappointing.

Any idea any one to enhance this UI times.

Note:

I have  hardware  as 16 GB RAM and 500 GB hard-disk .

Thanks

It seems that the only way is the optimization at java script using the markup algorithms. Of course Hardware plays vital role.

Hi,

Normally it will take that much longer to execute 50,000 records since each record having a location.(i guess).

So try to increase processor and RAM capacity to faster the process.

16 is not sufficient?

Hello every one as per i know qvd are used for better reload.

Can qvds help in decreasing response time.

Any idea or past experience.

Hi,

Yup. 100% sure. if you are creating a qvd file then you can shrink data up to 60% to 90% from its original size.

Then when loading data from qvd respond time will be 10 times faster than loading data from other sources.

Its better to use incremental reload using qvds for your problem.
