I have noticed that in my sales table, there is something called TIMEID which is a combination of Year, Period, Week, Day. When I create a QVD, I write a Where TIMEID >=2009xxxx, which is fine. But my project I am working with only some dimensions, so I need to pick the sales data relevant to only that Dimensions. However when I am working with the QVW, I noticed that all the sales data is being dumped and then I have to keep the Customer Dimension selected to work with that. I dont have any other field in the sales data except the TIMEID, using which I can restrict the data into QVW. Is there a solution for such problem as I dont want the full sales data which is not relevant to my Customers and has anyone of you came across such a situation?
