Getting error when connecting to my SQL server

Hi,

When I try to connect to my SQL server, I get this error message: [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect0).] Server does not exist or access denied.

I found this on the microsoft support: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888228 but not sure how to apply the workaround.
