Getting value from pivot table

Hi there,

i hope you can help me:

is it possible to get/read the field value of a sum row in a pivot table?

I want to compare the values of 2 pivot tables for validation data.

I am looking for something like Field(A, 1)    //field(column, row)

No, you can't refer a cell in a pivot table or any chart in qv. However, you can refer it logically by considering its POV (Point Of View), i.e. - point of intersection. Could be worked out and help you if you could share a sample qvw explaining the required output.
