Hi All...
Have been experminting with Google maps which has coincided with request froma user.
Our Transport module users Geographic Zones (e.g. ABER) which have Geographic Areas (AB11, AB12) associated with them.
The Geographic Areas are in fact the first part of the UK Post Code.
Via a spreadsheet, e have allocated distance zones (1, 2 or 3) from our Glasgow Site to the Geographic Area.
What we are trying to do via the QlikView report is link these to Google Maps (we have appended the latitude and longitude) and either...
Show the Zones as 1,2 or 3 on the map.
Show the zones colour coded, Green for 1, Blue for 2 and Red for 3.
I have only just started using Google Maps and have not developed a proper understanding of what it does.
I have attached where I have got to now - any help in acheiving either of our aims will be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Paul
I don't know, but I know a man who does.
We've contracted someone to solve a similar problem to this, and he has come up with the goods. If you're prepared to pay for an answer, I'll pass your email address on.
Ralph
Thanks Ralph - will try the forum first to see if I can get any further feedback...
