Graph Showing Count of Current Month Entries and 12-Month Average

I'm trying to create a line graph that shows the following:

- Days labeled on the X-Axis

- A line that shows the number of entries of each day for the current month

- A line that shows the average number of entries each day for the previous 12 months

I've been unsucessful with setting this up thus far - anyone have any suggestion on how to do this?
