Heat Maps using MapQuest

Hello,

I have been working on implementing a Heat Map in QlikView.  I am using MapQuest to provide my maps and I have a decent implementation of MapQuest Maps for a scatter chart.  I was curious if anyone has gained any headway towards implementing a heat map using MapQuest. 

I found a javascript API written by Patrick Wied: http://www.patrick-wied.at/static/heatmapjs/

However, I am not quite sure how to implement Javascript in QlikView.  Do I have to create an extension?  Can anyone give me any pointers?
