Help Please!!!!

I recently downloaded qlikview.  I'm trying to complete my first extension.  The problem is that my install doesn't have the following file paths.

C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Objects

or

C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Document

This is all I have:

C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Buffers

I'm using a windows 8 64bit personal edition instal.  I tried creating these file paths but i dont know how to map them properly to show up in webview extension option.  What do I need to do to set up my environment so I can start creating extensions?

Dear Mike,

You have not need to create any extension folder by yourself.

Go to > C:\Program Files\QlikView\Examples\Extensions

Double Click > Extension Examples.qar

Now extension with all necessary components are installed.

Go to and check extension folder here > C:\Users\[your user name here]\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView
