Help me in activating objects?

Hi all,

I have one container object containing another container object. (each container object contains objects).

I am placing text objects on my charts in container object.

Now when i click on one container object it must show the charts in that container and activate the text object on chart.

So please help me in creating variable and to use in layout tab?

pls upload your sample app, so we can have look & modify.  I don't see any difficulty in doing this.

Create a variable to store value of show/hide condition. Use the same in layout of objects.

Hi Durga,

You can create variables in the variables tab, then create trigger for each of your objects to assign the variable. In the Layout conditional show, you can check that variable value to decide if to show or not.

it is easy. but i am facing confusion.

In one line i want to activate the objects on my charts when i clicked on it (container).

declaring the variables are might be problem. advice.

Note: i have no access to uplaod and download qvw.s. pls share screenshots.

I would not do that. We have seen problems using conditional show in container objects. Once removed everything worked fine. 11.2 SR9
