Help on creating Logic

Hi,

I have one table having name & grades

Name	Grade
A	+A121
B	+B120
C	+AB131

In another table I am having Actual Grade as

ActualGrade

+A

+B

+AB

I dont have Any relation between these two tables..

I nee the output

Name	ActualGrade
A	+A
B	+B
C	+AB

Try like:

Load Name,

          PurgeChar(Grade, '0123456789') as NewGrade Inline [

Name	Grade
A	+A121
B	+B120
C	+AB131

];

If there is not a relation between tables, you meant any, how could it be a logic? If the relation is by the grade, then do what treseco sais.

thanks for the rpl.. but in my actuall scenario.. there are all numbers.. for eg.  +11121000.. where +1 is country code for USA.. so I need to assign USA to +111121000

Though requirement is not vey clear to me, guessing, you have to use mapping like:

map1:

mapping load * inline [

Grade, Country

+111121000, USA

+111121001, UK

+111121002, AUS

] ;

Table1:

Load

               ApplyMap ('map1', Grade ) as Country,

               Name,

               OtherField
From <> ;
