Hi All!
I just want to ask if this is possible to be achieve using Pivot table. Please see figure below!
| Mar-13 | ||||
| Type | Category | ItemType1 | ItemType2 | Total |
| Begbal | Begbal | 1 | 3 | 4 |
| Incoming | Sales | 2 | 2 | 4 |
| Outgoing | Sales | 3 | 1 | 4 |
| Total | 6 | 6 | 12 | |
| Apr-13 | ||||
| Type | Category | ItemType1 | ItemType2 | Total |
| Begbal | Begbal | 6 | 6 | 12 |
| Incoming | Sales | 5 | 3 | 8 |
| Outgoing | Sales | 4 | 3 | 7 |
| Total | 15 | 12 | 27 | |
| May-13 | ||||
| Type | Category | ItemType1 | ItemType2 | Total |
| Begbal | Begbal | 15 | 12 | 27 |
| Incoming | Sales | 5 | 3 | 8 |
| Outgoing | Sales | 4 | 3 | 7 |
| Total | 24 | 18 | 42 | |
I want to get the total from March 2013 ( total of item 1 (6), total of item 2 (6), and the total (12)) and move it to April 2013 BegBal. Now the total for April 2013 will now be moved to May 2013 Begbal and so on. Can this be achieved using Pivot table?
Thank you,
Dona
