Hi... Use of shared and meta file

Hi ...I have questions

1.  Can you please tell me what exactly use of Shared and Meta file ?

2.  How to create the Shared and Meta File in qlikview?

3.   If i put the both files  Shared qvw and original QVW file on server which will be available for publisher or instead of actual QVW can i put the shared qvw file on server?

1. See QV .share and .meta files

2. Open the qlikview document in the accesspoint. The Qlikview server will create the shared and meta files.

3. The .qvw file is the file that contains the data and the charts etc. You can't use the .shared file instead of the .qvw file. Without the .qvw file the .shared file is useless.
