Hidden script password

Hi all,

just a techical question.

I need to store some rows of code in hidden script, protect them using password.

Password needs to have uppercase, lowercase letter, number and character.

It seems that uppercase and lowercase letters are interchangeable.

Is QlikView able to differentiate between upper and lower case lettering in hidden script password protection in any way?

QV version 11.20.12904.0409 SR 12

As per my experience qlikview does not distinguish hidden script password based on case. Curious to hear from experts.

Although it raises an error if you type the hidden script password in different case in the password and confirm password fields initially, when you actually use it, it disregards case...

Since your company has Internal Security Policy and has established specific password protection without any exception.
