Hide a Column from current selection Box

Hi,

I need a field to be not displayed in the current selection box. I want to hide the column'F1' from the current selection box. I thought 'Hide Prefix' will do this job, because I remember doing it once some time back.

Please look at the attachment and let me know, if I miss something.

$F1 does not appear in the Current Selections box for me. You may have to change your User Preferences. On the General tab of User Preferences, there is a checkbox for Show System Fields; make sure that is unchecked.

Thanks Miller. That is why I wondered, I should be missing something.
