Hiding Repository from Web app

Hi,

I searched for this question (since in my mind it should be a fairly easy, built in option in QV) however I couldn't find it. I want to remove/hide the buttons Repository, New Sheet Object, and Select fields from the toolbar in the web application. I cannot seem to find any (what I would expect) option to do so in QV.

Cheers,

Nils

Hi.

There is no such an option.

Anyway there are some threads, I think this one can help:

How to hide the tool bar in AJAX for one document

thank you for your answers.

firstly: i have looked into the ajax doc, and i have a follow up question: does these extensions need to be installed on all computers using the web applications or can it be done centrally somehow? also; IE doesnt respond well to extensions - do you have any experience getting this to actually run with IE?

secondly: why the heck doesn't qlikview develop an option for this? seems to be a very simple fix, why does it need to be hacked? i sure hope the qlikview developers read this and take the appropriate actions to make this happen ... i spent a good 10 min searching for this feature before posting the question since i was sure it was standard.

You add the Document extension to each app and place the Document extension on the server.

No need to install anything on client.

We use it in a large scale environment. My client only use IE.

don´t need to install on each machine, only in server.

Will run smoohtly into IE 8 or superior using AJax Client
