How Triggers effects application performance...?

Hi all,

if i am ussing Sheet event triggers in multiple sheets in my application and my application has 1 billion data, how it can effect to my application.

please guide.

It depends on 'what for' and/or 'how' you are using the triggers. Simple triggers like selecting a direct value in a field should not cause a big problem. However, if you use macro execution with trigger or triggering complex calculation could affect the performance.

i am using clear field and select field triggers in application.

so it will not effect much to the application..!!!
