How can I create reports for different kind of users e.g. different Departments?

how can I create dynamic / static reports for kind of different departments or sales teams? What would be the ways to distribute them? Do I have to create several Reports or is it possible to create one report with grouping or some other technique? Thank you!

One document is fine. you can create multiple documents based on department and each document can be shared accordingly to those department people.
