I wanna put in my application a variable so my user can input a certain date. Then I need to filter all my data has the field sale_date < date_variable.
Simple is always better. And, sometimes it's important to show a customer/client "the QlikView way" which is often easier, more flexible, and useful than just copying a way it works in other systems.
