How can I undo a layout change of an object done via CTRL+SHIFT?

Hi folks,

does anyone of you know how to completely roll-back a layout change of an object done through the functionality of CTRL+SHIFT combination?

This question often pops up in my mind after saving the document after making a layout change of an object. Then I would need an original version of the object.

Susann.

Hello Susann,

You have two buttons in the General tab of the chart properties for that "Reset User Docking" and "Reset User Sizing". The latter is probably the one you are looking for.

Hope that helps.

Hi Susann,

I generally use the option of backup. It is enabled under User Preference > Use Backup. I use the one instance of backup.

I hope this helps!

Hi Miguel,

This is very good tip. I had never used this one and this is very handy to undo.

Many thanks again.

Wow, Miguel. Thanks a lot! This was exactly what I was looking for. Honestly I was always wondering what these buttons are there for.
