that is server side. usually we have windows authentication but there are other ways as well :

Out of the box Qlikview works with Active directory or Configurable LDAP for Integrated windows authentication. Its a standard practice across many organizations to use AD / LDAP. If your organization have either of it then you need to contact Directory admin team to provide bind id, credentials and other details to configure DSC (Directory Service Connectors) in QV
