How savely remove document

I have had some trouble with one particular document in Qlikview so I saved it with a new name. Can I now simply delete the old and troublesome document in explorer? Should I also delete the .Meta and Shared files?

Yes you can delete it. You also have to delete the Jobs in QMC and create a new one based on the new Source Document.

you can rename both files (Shared & meta) to the new Name in case there are shared user objects.

if not you can just delete both files.
