How to calculate the moving average

Hello everyone ,

          My requirment is that need to calculate average for the last 12 months . For example if the selected month is apr 2014 then the average should be from april 2012 to march 2013 . Similarly for may 2014 it should be from May 2012 to Apr 2013 .

Can anyone help me how to achieve this scenario
