How to compare time periods on charts

Hi,

I'm trying to compare time periods on a chart in the following manner:

X axis = time periods (days / weeks / months)

Y axis = sales value

Each line on the chart should be one year (so 1 line for 2012, 1 line for 2013 etc.) so that I can compare what was the sales by weeks in year 2012 vs 2013.

How to do that on script or chart level

Many thanks

T

With a line chart.

First dimension: Day field or week field or Month field or a Cyclic or Drill Down group with all those fields.

Second dimension: Year field

Expression: sum of sales

Select 2012 and 2013 in Year field.
