How to convert the y-axis to money from a number

i have the symbol of £ on the y-axis however i want to have the figures on the y-axis as money (£) currently they as a number.

i.e 1,500,00 however i need it as £1,500,00

Can anyone help?

Go to the chart properties -> number, then change it to money

see the screen shot which shows you where to change the number format..hope this helps

Hi ,

Goto Chart properties-> Number Tab->Select Money in Number formate Settings->formate pattern

write this

€ #.##0,00;-€ #.##0,00

Hi Guys,

I have tried the above and its worked for the Value on data points (i.e. the numbers on the actual graph), however the numbers of the y axis are still the same and havent changed.

in the above picture place the "£ " in Sybol box , then it will represent on the top of Y -Axis,

i think thats enough to the user to identify that money is in "£"
