Do beware, that whilst this will work on the QV Desktop it will not work on the AccessPoint.

Whilst I have seen an extension for adhoc reloading via AccessPoint, I would advise caution unless you are proficient re understanding QlikView extensions, Web Services and QlikView API's.

And the fact that in a server environment, you will be reloading for everyone, not just for yourself.

In QV Desktop just create a Button with a Reload action and it will reload the qvw.

If you are using ajax have a look at this extension by swr‌.

I have used it in the past with no problems.
