How to create two charts using excel data

Hi,


I have one excel file. I need to pick the data from Master sheet and need to create a chart items to generate the data which are in Child1 and Child2 by using qlikview document. Please find attached excel sheet for getting clear idea about what I am asking. Could anyone help me how to do this. Atleast basic help please.

Child 1 is easy.  See attached.  Child two is difficult because your data isn't exactly set up to do that.  Maybe if you could transpose the data or do a crosstable.  Good luck

Hi,

Actually I have one administrator with name John. His total number of reports reviewd are 81 but in the chart item it is showing a John 78

               John   3

How to get the name only once i,e

the output should be

John  81

Could you please help me in this.

Clean up the source data so there's only one unique John value. There's probably a trailing space in some of the John records. You can either fix this at the source, the best option, or in Qlikview using the trim function: trim(Administrator) as Administrator
