How to download a qvw with its script from access point?

Hi,

I want to download a qvw file with its script part from AP. Is that possible? If yes, how should I do this?

Cheers,

Keyu

if you can download the document, in the access point, click view detail and you see this (Downolad (QVW)

You can or can't depending on the settings for the doc in QMC (Qlikview management Console)

The system administrator must set the option to allow document download on the Management Console settings.

If this is not set, then you cannot download the QVW from the Access Point.

Speak to your system administrator.

thanks for your reply.

I can download it from access point, however the qvw has no more script with it or the script might be hidden? Can you give me a hint, how should I configure the QMC so that the script is remained in the downloaded qvw files?

Thank you in advance,

Thanks for your reply. The administrator has allowed to download the qvw file and actually the file can also be downloaded. I am now using the publisher to publish qvw files onto the access point, from which I download the file. The problem is that the published qvw files do not have its script part any more (it remains just one line comment). Is there any way that I can download the qvw files from AP with the original script?

The load script is removed from the distributed documents as part of the standard security used by Publisher.

If you need the load script, then you will have to ask your system administrator to send you a copy of the source document, or give you access to the source documents folder.
