How to find out sales value month wise

Hi All,

I am having a scenario that I have to find out sales target velocity,in that I have to find difference of sales value month wise.Means if my January Sales is 1000 for feburary 2000 and march 3000.

Now my formula should be January sales,January sales - February Sales+January Sales - March Sales

Please let me know as early as possible
