Add this in the Script        filename() as FileName,

after LOAD Statement

So it would  look similar to this

LOAD

          filename() as FileName,

           Sales,

           Products

FROM filepath.xls

obviously this is just a sample!!!

The path is getting associated with the data but I dont want it that way. I just want to get the list of files and "open" button. It will make easy if I want to edit some data in source file.

ok, do you own a Qlikview License?

If so I can send a file that does this.....

Luanch.pngYes, Rob I am using it to do normal routine search on computer .

I loaded filepath() or filename() as advised by Alan above. Then I used below action as shown in picture. Now the correct selected file is opening. BUT one thing still cant get done, the right table. I have loaded data from excel. The correct excel file is opening but not the table (excel sheet). How to reach the exact source sheet/table?
