How to group by date ( & week, month , year ) in qlikview ?

Say I have  date & sale:

I want to create a chart that would be able to group sale by day or by week or by month ....( with out using load)

Y-axis = sum(sale)

X-axis need to able to switch between(  day, week , month )

Will I be able to do this without creating the new week or month variable ?

Use drill down group option which suits well.

or go for cyclic group

You drilldown group , in tat, use like this

Month(Date)

Week(Date)

Day(Date)

as the expression and give label in it.
