How to hide an app from showing on web portal (Access Point)

I have to apps in PROD but I would like to hide one entirley from everyone's view except for a few people.  I understand the whole section access process, but I do not need to apply section access...I want to hide the entire document (.qvw file).

Remove the ntfs file permissions from the .qvw file for all users except those that should see the document in the access point.

Are you referring to the actual permissons on the .QVW file itself in Windows?  This will effect its appearance on the web portal page?

File permissions through NTFS will do it so that only the user with access to the folder will be able to see it. Hope this helps.

Yes, the actual file permissions on the .qvw file will determine which users will be able to see the document in the access point. Without at least read access to the .qvw file a user won't see it in the access point.
