How to keep calendar slider's thumb tack visible when filters are "cleared"?

I’ve created a calendar slider and have set it for a “fixed range”.  I've set the slider to "Override Locked Field", whicih keeps the chosen date range of the thumb tack in place when the filters are "cleared".

However, whenever I close the report and re-open, the thumb tack is minimized to just a single point - the size & position are essentially "re-set".  Is there a way to retain/maintain the slider’s thumb tack settings when the file is closed?  I don't want the report's users to have to  click and re-size the thumb tack every time they "clear".

HI,

    If you are using a field for slider, then this will happen.

    So you need to set a clear state.

    Here is the steps how you can do this.

    Select the Range from the slider which you want after every clear click.

    Then go to the Selection menu, click on Set Clear State.
