How to let user dynamic select how many bar to display on chart ?

Hi All

I like to know how you implement the above mentioned. As bar chart user require to display sales by month , and it allow user to dynamic change the number of visible bar . Hope some one can share with me how you do it ?

I have check and found that your approach is same as mine. But the problem is after certain time the

=$(Variable1)

change to a very number 195828293.

as you can see from the link QV doc ,same as the example you give e me , but not sure why the var name automatic change to number , you got any idea ?

I just set it to Number format from properties.

Yes i already got your answer and it work , but my issue is after some time it will automatic change to one vey large number. Sorry i am not so clear.

As till i know it is true the number will be too complex .
