How to limit the values of dimensions displayed in the chart

I have a line chart displaying data for last 3 months with date values shown on X-axis.

Is there a way we can show data for each day for all the 3 months but the actual date shown on the X-axis is only lets say every friday of each month.

This helps in crowding up all the dates together on X-axis and yet be able to see data for all the 3 months.

I suggest you create a master calendar and then use the weekend

But I still want to show data for all the days of these 3 months just that the dates being displayed need to be limited.
