How to make a login page which will detect OSuser and take to respective tab?

Hi all,

I have a QV report with 6 different tabs(each tab for each type of user group), now i want when a user open the tool, it will automatically detect the system OSuser credentials and take him to his view(tab).

Please let me know if anyone has any idea on it.

look under document properites -> triggers -> on open -> Layout -> Activate sheets

Hi Simon,

In the above reply I couldn't find where its catching OSuser

As I mentioned in my query, I have different OSusers and the view will be specific to each group of users.
