How to make distribute task faster from publisher to qlikview server?

Hi,

I have a task running manually for distribute qvw from Publisher to Qlikview Server(different machine).

Size qvw 450MB.

If i copy paste file qvw from publisher to server takes 1minute 20 second.

And if i distribute from publisher to qlikview server using task takes 3 minutes - 5minutes.

Any idea what could be to make distribute task faster?

Have you tried restarting the QlikView Distribution Service ?

If that speeds it up then do please advise, as this may well be issue I have come across before.

I am seeing the same symptoms and I am wondering if there is anything we can do to speed this up.

we are doing a "Partial" reload based on an EDX trigger that the user is triggering from an extension. the document is moderately large and the distribute part of the task is taking 6-8 minutes while the reload portion is taking just a few seconds.

I noticed that the while the distribution service is saving the document it is using the qvp:\ protocol.  I am wondering if this is the bottleneck and is there anything we can do to our configuration to help the qvp process the request faster.
