How to make two buttons independent of each other

I have a few buttons having the same variable values in two different sheets.

When I click on button 1 in the first sheet, the button with the same variable value gets activated on the second sheet too.

Is there any way to make the buttons independent of each other but still have the same variable value? Thanks!

Best way would be to assign two different variables to the two buttons

Is there something you are trying to achieve by using one variable for buttons that you want to act independently?

If not I completely agree with Sunny T. Having two variables would be best.
