How to publish a QVD without lose Document CAL?

Hi All, I need your help.

I have done this:

1. I created a file document.qvw.

2. I've published this file in my Qlikview Server (under the folder d:\qlikview\qvw).

3. I assigned a DocumentCAL linking this file to an user (QlikView Management Console -> Documents -> DocumentCALs)

OK. Thats file.

Now, I have to publish document.qvw again (the developer has just made changes in the source document.qvw).

How can I publish document.qvw again, without lose all DocumentCALs assossiations that I have already done?

I (no publisher) usually replace (=overwrite) doc.qvw on the server with modified doc.qvw

Will you not lose your DocumentCALs assigned?

in my environment (as I said no Publisher) I usually do in that way (replace) and I don'tlose the document cal

you could try; assign 1 doc cal to 1 test doc, access the doc, replace the test doc, access again
