How to rename an expression after you have qualified a table

I have some written expressions from a table. I now want to go back and qualify this table but know that by doing this I iwll have to rename all my expressions again to recognise the newly named table
Is there any way I can qualify a table, and the expressions automatically pick up this change?
In certain cases qv recognized this by himself and changed also the field-names in the expressions. If not you could change the field-names per search and replace in the expressions within the formula list - last item from menu properties.
