How to retrieve user id from connection string

Can someone help me find the id from QlikView connection string?

We had been using this connection string from over a year and the password to the id suddenly got expired.

To get more details or to reset password , we need the id.

Can someone help?

I'm not aware of any workaround, probably Qlik Support can help you on that to retrieve another unique identifier for users instead of the SAMAccountName?

However, 500+ characters for any account or server name sounds to me a bit odd, only typing 500 characters can take you some time. Wouldn't it be a hash or something instead of the actual account name?

The UserID is the email address in AD (this one does not belong to me, so no changes possible).

My workaround was to user Generic LDAP, now I have users successfully authenticated with their email domain\address.

For the ones reading, you need to check AD properties for a successful configuration. After this done, it's not possible to have users authenticate with other credentials different from email address. Fix one side screws the other xD
